How to Download Digital Products

If you find yourself having any trouble with digital products, this tutorial will walk you through the process.

I created this tutorial because there are so many different types of technology making it becomes difficult to trouble shoot every problem.

This quick tutorial will show you how to buy and download your products if you should find yourself having difficulty.

Step 1

Click on the product image of something you want to buy (Click here for example product). Doing this will redirect you to a page that describes the product you’re about to buy.

Step 2

Once on this page, please read all of the product description information, both above and below the ADD TO CART button. I also recommend you read the Download Help page before making your purchase. This will insure all goes well.

Step 3

Find the button that says ADD TO CART.

Go ahead and click ADD TO CART.

Step 4

After clicking the ADD TO CART button, a new window will pop up. You should see a summary of what you’ve added to the cart above the item you’ve just added to the Cart.

You can keep adding products by clicking the Shop button on the navigation bar and your items will be waiting for you in the Cart until you’re ready to check out.

If you have everything you need, click the VIEW CART button to being the checkout process.

Step 5

After clicking the VIEW CART button, you will be taken to a checkout page.

If you have a discount coupon this is the place to add it. Be sure to click APPLY COUPON. Remember, the system only allows ONE discount code per order.

You are now ready to begin the checkout process.

Click the PROCEED TO CHECKOUT button.

Step 6

Enter all of your payment information to the form. You will need to fill in every box with a *star* next to it. Once you have provided all the information, click the PROCEED TO PAYPAL button.

Don’t worry if you don’t have a PayPal account. They take credit cards and your information is safe (see Step 7)

Step 7

If you have a PayPal account, just log in and complete the process as you normally would.

If you don’t have a PayPal account, no worries. You can pay with a credit or debit card, just like any online purchase..

When you click Pay with Debit or Credit Card, fill in your address, email, credit card information. Then click the PAY NOW button.

After clicking PAY NOW, you will be asked if you want to create a PayPal account. You can just click the Not Now button. You will then see this screen showing the transaction as completed. Click on the RETURN TO MERCHANT button to leave PayPal.

Step 8

A few minutes after your purchase, check your email inbox. You will have an email that looks like this screenshot. I have circled the download link(s), and when you click the link your digital product will automatically download to your computer. Click the links in the DOWNLOAD column.

Please note that you should always be downloading from a laptop or PC. If you’re trying to download on a mobile device, you may run into some trouble. Most mobile devices don’t allow downloads from links. It is a safety measure to protect your device.

Step 9

Once you click on the file download, the PDF will automatically download and save to your computer.

Most computers will automatically save it in the Downloads folder, so check there first. If you do not see it, use your computer’s search files button and type in the name of the file (Appliqué Made Easy or Tea Time Appliqué Set in this case).

That’s it! Once saved, you can now access your product.

At this point you can now transfer the file to any mobile device you prefer.

How to Open a Zipped File:

Occasionally, a larger files will need to be sent in a Zipped File.

Here’s how to unzip a ZIP file:

On a laptop or PC- Save the ZIP file to your computer, right-click and select, “Extract All.” This creates a new file on your computer in which you can open. From there you can add the file to iCloud or Dropbox to access the files on your mobile device. Occasionally, browser apps may be glitchy during downloading. If this occurs, please try using a different browser.
On a mobile device- Before downloading the ZIP file directly to your mobile device, you may need a free app to unzip the product (try FileExplorer Free). This allows you to unzip the folder in order to access the download. Some mobile devices allow you to hold the zipped file icon and then click, “Extract.”
