I love the tree mug rugs but seriously that is not for a beginner. I don’t have a circuit cutter and I think it would be hard to sew around. It is beautiful though.
Thanks for the Christmas gift ideas. I make scrunchies for my granddaughters but the Christmas ones are adorable. I also like the simple gift card holder.
Thanks

My daughter asked me to make a fabric garland out of scraps of materials for her Christmas gift. I made six 12′ garlands. Cut out a 4″x10″ piece, turned about 1/4″ right side to back and ironed, then folded right sides together lengthwise and ironed. Stitched the top ad long side then turn right side out. Iron again, then take fusible interfacing and cut 1.25″ x 17″ strips. Fold in half to make them 8.5″. With fusible sides out, slip into strip- I use a skewer stick. The iron flat and slip raw edges into the turned edge to make a circle. I sewed all the red colors into circles then used the other strips and connected them.. It’s a little tricky connecting two circles and not catching the needle into the other circles. I made 62 circles for each 12′ strip. It looks beautiful.
Great ideas Thank you
