Halloween is all about fun! Kids out in their costumes, families Trick or Treating, and candy being distributed and/or gathered. Then, after all of the fun, there will be leftover candy ~ lots and lots of leftover candy.
For me, there may be leftover candy that doesn’t get handed out plus the added candy from buying back my grandson’s candy {and, likely stashing it in the freezer}. Somewhere down the road I plan to turn that leftover candy into a new dessert. And, for that I will need some Halloween Candy Recipes.
I’ve created a collection of only 10 Halloween Candy Recipes. I originally thought about putting together something along the lines of 50 Halloween Candy Recipes; but I wanted you to have some really great options, not a lot of mediocre recipes.

1. Butterfinger Popcorn by Six Sisters’ Stuff
Oh my stinkin’ heck! Butterfingers and marshmallows! Does this look fabulous or what? Every time I look at this picture I drool all over my computer.
2. Snickers Caramel Apple Salad by Chef in Training
What’s not to love here. Snickers and an entire tub of Cool Whip. I didn’t say these were healthy or nourishing desserts, did I? But, might like to stick my face in this salad.
3. Candy Corn and White Chocolate Softbatch Cookies by Averie Cooks
Mr. Seasoned Homemaker LOVES candy corn. I will probably convert this recipe into something gluten-free just for him. I know he will love it.
4. Almond Joy Peanut Butter Cookie Bars by Crazy for Crust
Sometimes I feel like a nut ~ Joking aside, this looks like a simple recipe that is probably delicious. I also like that it could easily convert to gluten-free. Perfect when you need to bring a dessert to a function.
5. Chocolate Peanut Butter 7-Layer Bars by The Domestic Rebel
This recipe has the added benefits of being both fudgey and gooey. I also love the fact that it has crushed pretzels which would give it that salty/sweet flavor. Makes me want to lick my fingers just looking at the photo.
6. Kit Kat Bar Cookies by Cheerios and Lattes
Kit Kat’s were my favorite crunch candy until we broke up when I found out I had Celiac Disease. {sniff, sniff} Please make this recipe and eat one for me. I miss them ever so much. The never call anymore. I miss them.
7. Reese’s Overload Scotcheroos by Something Swanky
Overload, being the key word, here. I always say, “If you’re going to eat junk, then you might as well go big.” And this recipe will satisfy a junk-food craving ~ including Reece’s Puffs cereal. Man, would I love to eat {and entire plate} one of these.
8. Rollo Brownie Pizza by Cooking on the Front Burner
You had me at Rollo. But seriously, what’s not to love here. A combination of fabulous ~ Rollo.Brownie.Pizza. Substitute with a gluten-free brownie mix and everybody’s happy!
9. Leftover Halloween Candy Blondies by Just a Taste
This is just a simple Blondies recipe with chopped up Halloween candy squished into the top. Every child’s fantasy ~ a cookie made with candy!
10. Halloween Candy Bark by Seeded at the Table
When I was searching recipes for this post I kept seeing lots of ideas for Candy Bark. Most of them were single-candy specific (like Candy Corn, etc.). I liked this one because it used a variety of candies ~ as in Leftover Halloween Candy.
Bon appetit‘, y’all!
such an awesome roundup of delicious recipes! Yum!
