My Apron Obsession

Lately, I seem to be obsessed with all things aprony! I think it has to do with my career homemaker lifestyle and a desire to have aprons that tend to match my mood rather than the task at hand. Sometimes a woman just wants to look chic when she's cooking, right?

So, when the Tie One On website asked for aprons with gingham, I had to answer the 'call of the French' and make an apron that reached into my past and called forth my two French grandmothers. What's a girl to do when the apron calls...c'est la vie!

My New Cyber Home

Well, here it is at last. My thoughts finally have a blog to call home. My goal for this website is to share my experiences, past and present, about homemaking. I am what you'd call a career homemaker. I've worked inside and outside of the home, but my heart has always been in learning to make a better place for my family and me to live. I'm constantly trying new things and experimenting with different ways to accomplish this ever-evolving, life-long task.

I'm a woman of many aprons and a "Jane" of many trades. I'm a wife, mother, grandmother, master gardener, experienced seamstress, "Etsian", recent knitter, and chef who is always trying new recipes...to name a few. I'm always working toward a more non-toxic, organic, green way of living.

I hope that my thoughts, reviews, and opinions will inspire you in your own pursuit of homemaking.
